Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (5 oz) cans of tuna, drained
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs (or almond flour for low-carb)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp finely chopped green onion or chives
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine tuna, egg, cheddar, breadcrumbs, mayo, Dijon, garlic powder, onion powder, green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape into 4–5 patties about ½ inch thick. Add more breadcrumbs if the mixture is too wet.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with your favorite sauces or side dishes.
Notes
Drain the tuna thoroughly for best texture. Chill patties before cooking for easier handling. These freeze and reheat well—perfect for meal prep!
