- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Drain the canned tuna thoroughly.
- In a bowl, mix tuna, shredded cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, and seasonings.
- Shape the mixture into small, evenly-sized patties.
- If the mixture is too wet, add more breadcrumbs.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or side dish.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free panko or crushed rice crackers. To make it keto-friendly, replace breadcrumbs with almond flour.
