- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon)
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning and let marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and slightly crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Season the steak with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Sear in a hot skillet for 4-5 minutes per side (medium-rare). Let rest for 10 minutes, then slice thinly.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
- In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta, shrimp, and steak to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Use reserved pasta water if needed to adjust consistency.
- Plate and garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For a spicier kick, add extra Cajun seasoning or a pinch of red pepper flakes. You can also substitute chicken for steak if preferred.
