Description

A bold and creamy dish, Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta combines spicy Cajun seasoning with a rich Alfredo sauce, tender shrimp, and juicy steak. Perfect for any occasion, this dish delivers a satisfying balance of flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon)
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning and let marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and slightly crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Sear in a hot skillet for 4-5 minutes per side (medium-rare). Let rest for 10 minutes, then slice thinly.
  4. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  5. In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  6. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
  7. Add cooked pasta, shrimp, and steak to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Use reserved pasta water if needed to adjust consistency.
  8. Plate and garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, add extra Cajun seasoning or a pinch of red pepper flakes. You can also substitute chicken for steak if preferred.
