- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and trim the green beans. Cut baby potatoes into halves or quarters.
- In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic in the bacon drippings until fragrant.
- Add baby potatoes and cook until they begin to soften and brown.
- Stir in green beans and cooked bacon, tossing everything together.
- Sprinkle with ranch seasoning and mix well. Add butter for extra richness.
- Simmer for a few minutes until green beans are tender but still vibrant.
- Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter version, use turkey bacon. To make ahead, store in an airtight container and reheat on the stovetop before serving.
