  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and trim the green beans. Cut baby potatoes into halves or quarters.
  2. In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic in the bacon drippings until fragrant.
  4. Add baby potatoes and cook until they begin to soften and brown.
  5. Stir in green beans and cooked bacon, tossing everything together.
  6. Sprinkle with ranch seasoning and mix well. Add butter for extra richness.
  7. Simmer for a few minutes until green beans are tender but still vibrant.
  8. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter version, use turkey bacon. To make ahead, store in an airtight container and reheat on the stovetop before serving.
