- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Sandwich buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, additional shredded cheese
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the Crock Pot.
- Add the cream cheese, ranch dressing mix, shredded cheddar cheese, and bacon (if using).
- Pour in the chicken broth to keep the chicken moist during cooking.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix everything well.
- Toast sandwich buns if desired.
- Spoon the shredded ranch chicken onto the buns and add preferred toppings.
