- 1 lb ground beef (or substitute with ground turkey or chicken)
- 8 oz angel hair pasta (or use spaghetti or egg noodles)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or try mozzarella for a milder flavor)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream (or substitute with Greek yogurt)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook angel hair pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in cream cheese, sour cream, and cream of mushroom soup.
- Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer cooked angel hair pasta.
- Pour the creamy beef mixture over the pasta and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for 10 more minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
