Description

A hearty and comforting crockpot casserole featuring sausage, hashbrowns, and gooey cheese. Perfect for busy weeknights!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage (ground or sliced)
  • 1 bag frozen hashbrowns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the crockpot with non-stick spray.
  2. Spread frozen hashbrowns evenly on the bottom.
  3. Add sausage on top of the hashbrowns.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the mixture.
  5. In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk.
  6. Pour the mixture over the sausage and hashbrowns.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, use plant-based sausage. Add bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
