- 2 lobster tails
- 8 large sea scallops
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Thaw lobster tails if frozen by refrigerating overnight or placing in cold water.
- Use kitchen scissors to cut through the top shell of the lobster tail and remove the vein.
- Pat scallops dry with a paper towel and remove the side muscle if present.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add scallops, cooking for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add lobster tails, meat-side down, cooking for 4 minutes. Flip and cook another 3-4 minutes until opaque.
- Return scallops to the skillet and pour the garlic butter sauce over the seafood.
- Cook for 1-2 more minutes to combine flavors.
- Serve immediately with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
