Description

A quick and easy crustless quiche that forms its own crust while baking, making it perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a light dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups milk (or heavy cream)
  • 1 cup Bisquick (or self-rising flour)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your choice)
  • ½ cup cooked bacon or ham, chopped
  • ½ cup vegetables (spinach, onions, bell peppers, or mushrooms)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, Bisquick, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Stir in cheese, cooked bacon or ham, and vegetables.
  4. Pour the mixture into the greased pie dish and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, omit the meat and add extra veggies. For a gluten-free option, use a gluten-free flour blend instead of Bisquick.
