- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Flatten chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg.
- In a third bowl, combine Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then dip into the egg, and finally coat with the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken for 4-6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
Notes
For extra crispiness, bake the chicken at 375°F for 5 minutes after frying.
