Description

A delicious and crispy Parmesan-crusted chicken inspired by Longhorn Steakhouse, offering rich flavors and a satisfying crunch.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Flatten chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the egg.
  4. In a third bowl, combine Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then dip into the egg, and finally coat with the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Cook chicken for 4-6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

For extra crispiness, bake the chicken at 375°F for 5 minutes after frying.
