A delicious twist on the classic Reuben sandwich, this Reuben Crescent Bake transforms the iconic flavors into an easy-to-make casserole that’s perfect for any occasion.

- 2 cans crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
- 3/4 lb sliced corned beef
- 1 1/2 cups sauerkraut, drained
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp caraway seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish, sealing seams.
- Spread Thousand Island dressing evenly over the dough.
- Layer corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on top.
- Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the top, sealing the edges.
- Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with caraway seeds if using.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, lightly toast the bottom crescent roll layer for 5 minutes before adding the fillings.
