- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 bottle (18 oz) Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until chicken is tender and easily shredded.
- Shred the chicken using two forks and mix well with the sauce.
- Serve warm over rice with coleslaw on the side.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the shredded chicken sit in the sauce for 15 minutes before serving.
