Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bottle (18 oz) Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until chicken is tender and easily shredded.
  5. Shred the chicken using two forks and mix well with the sauce.
  6. Serve warm over rice with coleslaw on the side.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the shredded chicken sit in the sauce for 15 minutes before serving.
